Is there a fee to become a ZipEyewear Provider?
No. It is free to enroll.
How do I become a ZipEyewear Provider?
Click on the "Become a Provider" link on the Provider page and follow the instructions. We can only accept online registrations at this time.
What are some benefits of becoming a ZipEyewear Provider?
ZipEyewear does not compete with your business. Our Site to Sight program allows us to direct online customers to local Provider locations, creating a win-win situation for both the customer and the Zipeyewear Provider.
In addition, we advertise each Provider's entire frame line for free.
ZipEyewear Providers do not pay credit card fees on sales generated through ZipEyewear.
How are the frames priced?
Frames will be priced competitively with other major online eyewear retailers. Please Contact Us for more information.
How are basic lenses and lens options priced?
Basic lenses and lens options will be priced to be competitive with other major online eyewear retailers and will be periodically changed to reflect manufacturer's changes. Please Contact Us for more information.
How and when will I be paid?
All claims will be processed within thirty (30) days of voucher finalization. Payments will be issued for the face amount of each validated voucher less ZipEyewear's service fee of ten percent (10%).
How are credit card fees handled?
Credit card fees are included in the 10% fee to ZipEyewear.
Do I have to report to ZipEyewear additional sales or changes made to the Voucher?
No, ZipEyewear Providers are allowed to upgrade frames and lenses and sell additional pairs of eyeglasses. ZipEyewear only requires the 10% fee from the face amount of the validated voucher generated by the online customer.
How do I handle customer's vision insurance?
Each Provider is responsible for handling their customer's vision benefits if they are in the customer's insurance network. It is the responsibility of the Provider to explain to the customer their insurance company's reimbursements.
What happens if the customer doesn't like the choices they made on-line?
Providers should allow customers to choose other frames available at their stores using ZipEyewear pricing. The customer can also order frames available at the store that are not listed on ZipEyewear. Should the customer choose a different lens or lens option than that specified on the voucher, the Provider agrees to offer such products that are available at their stores. Furthermore, the Provider agrees to offer these products at a 20% discount.
What happens if a customer does not want to use their voucher at our store?
If no authorization has been obtained, no action is required. If an authorization has been obtained and no lenses have been manufactured, the Provider is required to cancel the authorization online. If an authorization has been obtained and lenses have also been manufactured, the refund policy of each Provider should govern the course of action. ZipEyewear will not be involved regarding refunds on processed orders.
How can I make sure that no other Providers have used a voucher?
Only one authorization per voucher can be obtained. If you are unable to obtain an authorization, do not manufacture lenses. You may call our toll-free number for clarification. ZipEyewear will reimburse only the Provider authorized to process a voucher.
