ZipEyewear Providers
1. What are ZipEyewear Providers? What do they do?
A ZipEyewear Provider is a local optical shop that has enrolled in the Site to Sight program. Your order with
ZipEyewear.com
will produce a voucher that can be redeemed by a Provider.
ZipEyewear Providers will consult you on your frame and lens choices, take all necessary measurements, and then manufacture, adjust, and dispense your eyewear. Your ZipEyewear Provider is also responsible for after-sale service and warranty claims.
2. Are there ZipEyewear Providers in my area?
Our website uses a geo-location technique in attempt to locate you via your Internet connection. If this doesn’t work, you might see a different zip code than your own on the top right of this page.
Click on the “Change Zip Code” link to enter the correct zip code, and the number of Providers near you will be displayed. You can also expand or contract your Provider search radius.
3. What if there are no ZipEyewear Providers anywhere near me?
We’re sorry. ZipEyewear Providers are all over the United States, but are not everywhere.
Use the Contact Us form to notify our staff. We will notify you when we establish a ZipEyewear Provider in your area.
4. What if ZipEyewear Providers in my area do not carry the frame I want?
Our website matches any eyewear you order with Providers in your location who carry the specific products being ordered.
If you see any frame marked “Not Available,” there are no Providers in your area who carry that eyewear brand or collection. You cannot purchase frames marked “Not Available."
We are here to help, though! Click on the “Notify Zip” link and we will attempt to find a new Provider for you. If you are logged in, you can add the frame to your favorites list so you can easily find it later.

5. How do I order my glasses online?
Browse through our catalog to find a frame.
Once you’ve found a frame, you can add prescription lenses to complete your pair of eyewear. If you have your prescription please enter it as directed. Our website will help you select the most appropriate lens for your vision prescription and frame.
After your order has been made, go to a Provider listed on your voucher. Try on the frame you ordered. Try on any frame you want. At this time you can change your mind, and your order just as easily, if you are not satisfied with the fit or style of the frame you chose online.
Consult the Provider about your lens selection. Once you decide to proceed, the Provider will authorize your voucher. Your Provider will then be able to modify your voucher if you’ve decided to change your frame or lenses.
Now your Provider will manufacture your lenses and assemble your glasses. When they’re done, come back to pick them up and your Provider will adjust your eyewear to fit comfortably and for optimal vision correction.
Finally, the Provider will ask you to answer a security question. Your answer indicates that you have received your eyewear and are satisfied. Thats it!
6. Can I order glasses in an area that is not where I live?
Certainly! Simply change the search area (on the left column of a search page, or in the top right of any page) while ordering, and your voucher and Provider list will be generated for that area.
7. What if the frame I want is not available is not in my area?
Our website matches any eyewear you order with Providers in your location who carry the specific products being ordered.

8. Do I need my vision prescription?
You need a current vision prescription to order corrective lenses.
Your Provider will need a copy of your vision prescription to manufacture your lenses. If you do not have a written prescription, but would like to purchase corrective lenses, you may click the “Continue Without Prescription” button on the Lens Selection page to proceed.
Remember, your Provider will need a copy of your prescription before making your lenses.
9. What if I don’t have my vision prescription?
You should have your exes examined regularly.
Please call your optometrist’s office and request them to fax your prescription to the Provider where you want to redeem your ZipEyewear voucher.
Redeeming your vouchers
10. I’ve made an order. What next?
Your order will produce vouchers for each pair of eyewear and for each individual frame or lens you purchase. Each voucher includes a list of ZipEyewear Providers in your area that can readily fulfill your order. A ZipEyewear voucher can be processed only by a ZipEyewear Provider.
Local Providers receive notice of your order (without any of your personal information) immediately, so you may start receiving status notifications from these Providers in as little as minutes. You are free to call and set up an appointment, or you can simply go to a Provider to try on frames.
11. Do I have to print the order or voucher?
You may certainly print your order or vouchers, but you don’t have to.
If you choose not print a voucher, please write down the
Voucher Number
and
Authorization Code
. Providers need this information to process a voucher.
12. How do I know where to go with my order?
Part of each voucher is a list of ZipEyewear Providers in the area that can fulfill that order. Which one to use is up to you.
13. So you want me to get up and go to an optical shop?
Yes, but you don’t need to right now.
Providers in your area are notified of what you ordered, and can respond with their availability status. These responses will appear on your Voucher’s Provider List. If you wait a bit, you’ll know which Providers are ready for you and which are not.
14. Do I need an appointment to go to a Provider?
Not typically. You can call a Provider to make sure. You can also use this opportunity to find out if they have what you want in stock.
15. How do I change the frame or lenses on my voucher?
Ask your Provider to modify your voucher. If you wish to cancel your unused voucher, you can do so from

16. When will my lenses be manufactured?
Your lenses will be manufactured after you confirm your frame, lens and add-on choices with your Provider.
The Provider will authorize the voucher. After your voucher has been authorized, all changes to your order, including cancellation, are handled between you and the Provider.
17. What if I change my mind and want to use another Provider?
If you decide to use another ZipEyewear Provider after an authorization has been obtained, you must contact the original Provider and request they cancel their authorization. Providers won’t do this if they have already manufactured your lenses.

18. Can I use my vision benefits?
It is your responsibility to check with the Providers identified in your order if they accept your vision plan.
Please be aware that ZipEyewear prices are not retail prices, so you can not use your vision benefits in conjunction with our prices.
If your ZipEyewear Provider accepts your vision plan, they can probably file a claim with your insurance company. You would receive a check in the amount your vision insurance reimbursement from your insurance company or Provider. Please discuss this option with your Provider before agreeing to redeem your voucher.
19. What if my glasses are not properly correcting my vision?
If your glasses are not working properly when you come to pick them up, ask your Provider to make all necessary corrections before giving the answer to your security question.
If your glasses are not correcting your vision after you have accepted them, your glasses are subject to the Provider’s remake, warranty, and refund policies.
20. Do I need to sign for my glasses when I pick them up?
In order to complete your ZipEyewear order, your Provider will ask you your security question. Answering this question finalizes your voucher. Do not give your Provider the answer to your security question until you are satisfied with your eyewear.
